Hamlet Essay part 2 Danielle Sison

Well, I wrote the last half of my essay. Again, it is a total "from scratch" kind of work.I wrote about how her madness was in a way, her escape from a patriarchal society, because all her life she has been controlled by men. But the last thing she gives to the men in her life is her "sanity" because that is just how Ophelia is. She wants to give and impress men, to be wanted by them. Its sort of contrasting. She gives her sanity away to the men in her life, but simultaneously it "frees" her. Its a bit confusing. I'm not sure that I like it. I might revise it tomorrow.
